Our small staff works tirelessly to make the mission of the Wisconsin Center for Christian Studies a reality because they believe when Christians renew their minds, the world truly benefits.

    President & Founder

    David has been an Adjunct Professor at Trinity International University for over 30 years and teaches in the area of Biblical Studies, specializing in the New Testament. He also served as an Associate Pastor at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI for 31 years.

  • rebecca bowling

    Vice President of operations

    Rebecca is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God and has her Bachelor's Degree in Practical Theology. She has spent the last 10 years working in the non-profit world to serve those with addictions, the homeless, and poverty stricken both at home and abroad. Rebecca has observed first hand that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only true hope for redemption in this world.

  • Karen seemuth

    Executive assistant

    Karen worked in the medical field for 30 years. She was Director of Operations for BrookLink, Inc, a non profit organization which provides Biblical Training and Leadership Development in the developing world. She helped David as he set up Wisconsin Center for Christian Studies and now serves as his Executive Assistant. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and likes to knit.

    Jennifer received her MA in Christian Studies from Trinity International University. As a preacher and Bible teacher, she is most passionate about how God uses the truth of His Word to change lives. She has worked for over 20 years in the customer service field, and serves with her husband, Gary, in various marriage ministries. When she is not writing or reading, she enjoys spending time outside running.

    Ryan has previously worked in both the public library and academic systems, and has a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He previously studied English Literature and Spiritual Formation. He lives in Plymouth, MI with his wife, Sarah, and their dog, Wendell.

David P. Seemuth, Ph.D. - Board President

David has been an Adjunct Professor at Trinity International University for over 25 years and teaches in the area of Biblical Studies, specializing in the New Testament. He also served as an Associate Pastor at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI for 31 years.


Erik Ulvog - Chairman of the Board

Erik has served on the Board of Directors for Telling the Truth Ministry which oversees the world-wide teaching ministry of Stuart, Jill and Pete Briscoe. Erik served in the US Army Reserves as a Non Commissioned Officer and earned a Bachelor of Science in 1995 from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He is pursuing an MA in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.


Larry Schmit, Sr. - Vice Chair of the Board

He is a successful business man and is involved in numerous ministry initiatives. He is also a ‘go to adviser’ on key issues of organizational structure and strategies. He has served on the boards of many organizations.


Martha Cox - Board Secretary

As a surgical care nurse for many years, Martha is able to enter the world where people are very vulnerable and need expert care. She is a key person who has been asked by her superiors to provide support for her colleagues and reflect feedback to physicians to help manage a fast-paced medical team. Martha has been a key supporter of the Wisconsin Center for Christian Studies since the founding of the ministry.


Adam Bruk, CPA - Board Treasurer

Adam is our most recent addition to the WCCS Board of Directors. Adam studied Psychology and Religious Studies at Carroll University before transitioning to the area of Accounting. He has his CPA and works as a Manager at  CohnReznick, LLP, in Transaction Advisory Services.

Our Faculty
